Day Eleven
Time for another hotel. We checked into the Boardwalk Inn early in the day then spent some time with family away from the World. We enjoyed the Boardwalk swimming pool in the evening. Our room was on the third floor with a large patio that looked out to the Boardwalk and the Yacht Club. In the evening we could watch the Boardwalk’s jugglers. The pool has a circus theme and tiles with Dumbo’s picture can be found around the pool’s edge. The water slide was closed but we didn’t mind. We just enjoyed floating around the pool and relaxing in the Jacuzzi. The highlight of the evening was watching Illuminations from our John and Stacey's room. We were just behind France so the silhouette of the Eiffel Tower appeared in the fireworks. After the performance we enjoyed a late dinner at the Big River Grille. It can be a very noisy place, especially when the Yankees and Mets are tied in extra innings.

Day Twelve
Time for the Spoodles buffet. Doobie and John had been singing it’s praising for years. There were frittatas, breakfast pizzas, various pastries, bagels and toppings including smoked salmon, breakfast meats and more. I thoroughly enjoyed the food (I know it seems to be a recurring theme). Then it was off to the International Gateway with a stop off at the ESPN Club for head to head basketball with Doobie. We tied. Phooey! At Epcot we explored the Millennium Village, Universe of Energy, The Land, Circle of Life, and Food Rocks.

Then it was off to La Nouba. Wow! The costumes were beautiful. Some were white and others had flamboyant colors. The highlight of the show was a troup of young girls from China who worked their magic on the diabolo. The diabolo looks like a giant spool that is tossed back and forth on a string. Diabolo performers appear in the Mulan parade. These little ones would do flips before catching it. They’d even jump onto each other’s shoulders before catching the diabolo from its high toss. The music is performed live and the small band was moving in rhythm to the music adding to the high energy levels. It is very difficult to communicate how beautiful and amazing the various performers were so I’m just going to say that if you have a chance to see Cirque I highly recommend it. It is an experience you won’t forget. The Cirque du Soleil Theater is next door to DisneyQuest so Doobie once again challenged me to head to head basketball and lost.
