Off to Epcot. Park hours have been adjusted this week to 10:00 am to 9:30 pm. Illuminations is at 9:30 pm with Tapestry of Dreams at 4:00 pm and 6:10 pm. Construction of Mission:Space continues, though it is hard to tell how far along the attraction is from the outside of the building. Rumor has it the attraction could soft open by next Christmas. The new triple queue at Test Track is now open and Fastpass is once again working. By reconfiguring the old queue, the inside can now accommodate the Fastpass line, Standby line and the Single Rider line. A tip: If you can’t get or use a Fastpass and you don’t mind separating your party you can cut your wait time dramatically by using the Single Rider option. With much of Future World closing at 7:00 pm World Showcase can seem busier than normal. And that is no surprise since many guests are here to experience the Candlelight Processional. The Processional will be performed 95 times this year. Each performance has 400 performers on stage from the Voice of Liberty, the Walt Disney World Orchestra and a massed choir. At each performance the choir is made up of different high school groups representing 30 states from around the country. By the last performance over 16,000 vocalists will have volunteered to perform. A few tips about the Candlelight Processional. The front half of the theater is reserved for guests on a Dinner Package. They get priority reserved seating up to and including the beginning of the show. If you would like to sit close to the stage you can only do that by purchasing a dinner package. If you do not purchase a dinner package you should plan to arrive at least 45 minutes before Showtime for standby seating. Seat fill up quickly so arrive early. The 5:00 pm show tends to be less crowded but will still fill before the show begins. Robby Benson, the voice of the Beast, was the narrator for the show that we caught. You can check out the other narrators by clicking here.
