T-Rex

I know this kind of themed restaurant is not everyones cup of tea. If youre not familiar with T-Rex, think Rainforest Cafe, but pre-historic. In fact, the company that created Rainforest Cafe also created this restaurant that can be found in the Downtown Disney Marketplace. Its got that same kitschy feel as Rainforest and that same friendly but almost factory-like service. But I really enjoy the atmosphere. There are several dinosaurs both static and animatronic, a 2-minute meteor shower, an awesome aquarium in the waiting area, a fossil dig outside for the kiddies and really eerie and cool ice cave room that I love to walk through but am a little scared to sit in. My favorite dish is the Footprints Flatbread (no chicken) and, of course, the Ultimate Prehistoric Smoothie with Oreo cookies and Reeses Peanut Butter Cups.
