So you say you wonder why you can’t seem to stop friends and family from visiting during the “cold” winter months? Today my friends is why your friends always seem to have some extra vacation time right about now they didn’t use from last year.
Another really nice day in store as we continue to bounce back from what was the beginning of the week.
Temperatures SHOULD get into the 70s today – but barely – the warm up continues into the weekend so don’t worry. What WILL happen is that as night turns into morning – some fog will develop.
There is a little news flash for my runners tomorrow morning – patchy fog IS possible (dare I say probable) for the beginning of the run. Lows will get down into the low 50s (so not horrible for the starting line) – but you figure the lowest temperature of the day is going to come right around when that gun goes off so be prepared.
Same scenario is actually in play for race day Sunday when it may be a degree or two warmer but the fog could be a little denser as well that early.
The warm up continues through the weekend into early next week as temperatures soar into the mid to even upper 70s.
