Anaheim Issues Commuter Alert for Resort Area

The city of Anaheim today issued a commuter alert for residents and guests traveling through the Anaheim Resort beginning early September through December 2015

From Sept. 8 – Nov. 10*, Harbor Blvd. from Convention Way to Katella Ave. will see significant underground infrastructure work, and commuters are advised to plan ahead for potential delays. Portable message signs have been installed to assist with up-to-date information, including alternate routes as needed.

From Sept. 28 – Dec. 18*, this construction project will impact the following streets:

Wakefield Ave. from Morgan Ln. to Ninth St.
Morgan Lane from Eleanor Dr. to Wakefield Ave.
Eleanor Dr. from West St. to Morgan Ln.
West St. from Katella Ave. to Eleanor Dr.

The Anaheim Resort is experiencing significant growth as new hotels are being constructed, existing hotels are undergoing renovation, and the Anaheim Convention Center is adding its seventh expansion project. The underground infrastructure work includes sanitary sewer improvements to accommodate growth in the Anaheim Resort.
