A new gastropub-style concept, serving “New England-inspired comfort food” is set to replace the Captain’s Grille at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort in Walt Disney World. The Ale & Compass Restaurant is part of an overall reimagining of Yacht Club’s dining, which also includes The Market at Ale & Compass and a renovated lobby lounge. As for the restaurant itself, the casual table-service location will serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner and a feature décor “inspired by the cozy warmth of a lighthouse, as a comforting respite from the outside world.”
The Ale & Compass Restaurant and update lounge are set to debut this October.
