The cavalcade was, again, all of the cast on one float, which passed rather quickly. My emails and fan conversations and the soap boards seem to echo my perception of this: you cannot get all of them in one shot unless you stand out in the middle of the street, and they will not let you stand out in the middle of the street. The best a fan can get is a half to three-fourths of the cast on the float. If they were to have a motorcade, fans could get good shots of all of the cast, and would be much happier than with the present situation.

We took photos of cast members (of the show, not the park) as they signed autographs around the park, and showed up at three at the Bistro for lunch. The rules had changed from the last weekend: no posed photos, no photos at individual tables. Some of the actors scheduled to appear on the media list were not on the restaurant list. We saw Nathaniel Marston, Erin Torpey, who had never been here before and was amazed that the sets were exactly identical to those in New York, and a quick glimpse of Fiona Hutchinson passing through. Just after we left our table, David Fumero popped in and went from table to table.

We saw the 4:15 Llanview Live! show, with Hillary B. Smith, who had not been able to make the media interviews, Laurence Lau, Ty Treadway and Catherine Hickland. Catherine is a fun and fascinating person. She is married to Michael E. Knight of All My Children, travels with her own hairstylist (she begged the producer to let her get a really good forced haircut for her character, who is in prison) and does her own makeup...and it really is her own makeup! Catherine owns and operates Cat Cosmetics in New York City and in cyberspace.

With kind permission, I am passing along this offer to my readers: go to http://www.catcosmetics.com and enter the code meow on the order form, and you'll get a 10% discount on the great cosmetics (and brushes that will make you purr) available there.

At 5:15, she and Hillary hit Millionaire. They made the host laugh and blush, and revealed themselves to be best pals in real life - and I was right about them being the smart ones - they made it up to 500,000 points. It turns out that Hillary was once a geneticist, and Catherine is an entrepreneur, so the deck was pretty stacked. I collected my tote bag and certificate, and thus ended my Super Soap Saturday.
