Sasha Silver Promoted to Head of Drama Originals at Hulu

Hulu has made another change to their staff after promoting Jordan Helman earlier this month. Sasha Silver will now serve as head of drama originals, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

  • Silver takes over the role vacated by Helman after he held it since 2015. Helman moved up to take over the role of Head of Originals.
  • Silver has been with Hulu since 2016 and has helped develop series like:
    • The Act
    • Little Fires Everywhere
    • The Great
    • Nine Perfect Strangers and
    • The Girl From Plainville

  • Prior to starting her time at Hulu, Silver served as VP TV development at Chernin Entertainment and director of development at Paramount TV Studios.
  • She has previously developed series like Berlin Station and The Alienist.
  • Her career began at HBO where she worked on all three seasons of Bored to Death.
