Screen Junkies Releases Honest Trailer for the Entire Marvel Cinematic Universe

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is an unparalleled cinematic masterpiece, accomplishing goals hitherto undreamt of (to steal a phrase from Doctor Strange). Its 22 films have earned more than $8 billion domestically and more than $21 billion worldwide. That still doesn’t mean it’s safe from Screen Junkies’ Honest Trailers series.

The latest addition to the YouTube comedy series points out all the tropes of the MCU and of course, pokes fun at Disney along the way.

The video points out some of the MCU’s weaker villains (though I refuse to accept Red Skull being put on that list), the recurring theme of fathers being the real villains and some of the magical locations the films visit (which includes an “accidental” shot of Disney’s Zootopia).

The video also makes the point that this popular YouTube series probably wouldn’t exist today if it weren’t for the popularity of the MCU, pointing out that, in the end, everyone gets paid by Disney.

It’s worth noting that Avengers: Endgame is not included in this video. There are probably a couple reasons for that. One being that the film is still in theaters and not available on home release. The second being that it’s a perfect movie with absolutely zero flaws and if you disagree with me that’s fine but we can’t be friends.
