On its final weekend at Walt Disney World, LaughingPlace.com brings you a 16 page pictorial of the Main Street Electrical Parade

“Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, Walt Disney World proudly presents our spectacular festival pageant of nighttime magic and imagination in thousands of sparkling lights and electrosynthomagnetic musical sounds ... the ‘Main Street Electrical Parade!’”

After a 24 year run in California, Disneyland's Main Street Electrical finally ended in November 1996. After a 2 1/2 year hiatus (interrupted for a special appearance for the Hercules premiere), the parade returned 3,000 miles away in June 1999 at Walt Disney World. Since then the Main Street Electrical Parade has traveled the Magic Kingdom's parade route more than 500 times. On April 1st the Main Street Electrical Parade once again "glows away" making way for the return of SpectroMagic.

Following are more than 60 pictures of the parade taken at various times over the past two years. We hope you enjoy this look at Walt Disney World's Main Street Electrical Parade.
