Passport to Confusion
If I had a nickel for every email I've received asking about tickets to DisneySea...  Well, nailing down those answers has been a confusing maze of conflicting information.  It's not entirely surprising.   The new park and the multi-day tickets that go into effect at it's opening have dramatically increased the options.

Hopefully this page I've put together will answers your questions

Ticket Options for Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea

The Big Boys
Chairman of the Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Paul Pressler, Vice-chairman of Walt Disney Imagineering Marty Sklar, and President of Walt Disney Imagineering Dan Goodman were on hand in Tokyo this week for a first hand look at DisneySea.

And yesterday, a reporter and a cameraman from CNN  toured the park with an OLC guide.  So... The American coverage of DisneySea will now consist of basically me and CNN.  Talk about two ends of the spectrum! :)

Bring ME Some Fire!
There's been periodic testing of Mysterious Island's volcano (which is looking like it will receive the official name - Mt. Prometheus), but I keep missing it!!  I'm told (arrgh!) that there have been fireballs, a more sustained large flame, and billowing smoke... all accompanied by the appropriate deafening sounds of eruption.

It tasks me...   :)

Resort Lines

ResortLines.jpg (17499 bytes)

For those who missed the link here at LaughingPlace.com, the Tokyo Disney Resort Line monorail system will officially begin accepting passengers on July 27th.  As with the monorail's early opening date, OLC is being very tight-lipped (When those guys want to keep a secret...!) about ticket prices (you'll need a ticket to ride).

And another Tokyo Disney Resort Line that is certainly worth mentioning -  Did you know that Tokyo Disneyland Station, World Bazaar, Cinderella Castle, AND Mysterious Island from a perfect line.  It blew my mind the first time I saw them line up from the train.   Actually, it still blows my mind every time I see it.  The first three buildings aren't a big surprise, but Mysterious Island, too!  Wow...
