“Journey to Disney Palace Pets Whisker Haven” was an adorable display showing new products for the Palace Pets, including some that are Toys R’ Us exclusive. The full name of their new place to adventure is the Animal Royal Kingdom of Whisker Haven, which sounds very fancy in its own right. While all of their new friends look adorable, I can’t help but be a little freaked out by the fact that their pony friend looks like it came from the 3rd generation of My Little Pony.

StarDarlings2

Star Darlings is officially what I was most insanely excited for when it came to things shown in the pavilion. In the “Introducing Star Darlings” section they showed off the first line of dolls that will be coming out, as well as the first five or so books that will be arriving in the near future as well. A section of the dolls, if not the entire series, will be debuting this fall at Justice.

StarDarlings3

The dolls remind me of a much better looking version of the Equestria Girls dolls, so I can’t wait to get my hands on these. The Star Darlings’ faces are adorable, and they look great from head to toe.

StarDarlings4

Another thing that was exciting for me personally, as I’m a tad older than the target demographic for this series, is that Ahmet Zappa and his wife, Shana Muldoon Zappa, are the authors of the Star Darlings books! That’s so cool!! I’ve already gotten some of the books pre-ordered on Amazon, and I can’t wait for the new animated shorts to start as well. The first of the books should release on September 15th, 2015, so consider me extra excited to have it arrive in my mail box!

Descendants1

At the “Discover Disney’s Descendants” section they shared some of Kara Saun’s concept sketches for the outfits worn in the show. They’re calling the style “Dirty Candy” and it looks pretty neat!

Descendants2

They had both a set of Descendants Signature Dolls and the Descendants Coronation Dolls on site for you to look at. All of the dolls were done by Hasbro and look great. The faces and outfits seems to pull the characters together quite nicely.

Descendants3

They also shared some clothes and accessories that look like they’ll be available at both Kohl’s and JCPenney soon, if they haven’t already arrived. I especially like the necklace that they showed off.
