Doobie talks about some of the new things on LP - The Laughing Place A-Z Guide to Epcot, the LP Podcast and a new section for Tales from the Laughing Place and

Every now and then I like to talk about some of the changes and new offerings at Laughing Place. That's what today's Editor's Report is for.

The LaughingPlace Podcast
We launched the LP Podcast a few months ago and are now up to our 14th episode. If you're unfamiliar with podcasting, I suggest you view the page to learn more about it but, in short, our podcast is like a weekly radio program dedicated to Disney. Our primary hosts are Daniel and Jonathan who are not only extremely knowledgeable about Disney past and present, they're also have a great rapport with each other keeping the broadcast light and humorous. They're usually joined by Johnny, Rachel and/or Megan. Each podcast lasts about 25 minutes and usually includes news, Armchair Imagineering, tips and reviews. We also occasionally have giveaways and interviews.

But the best part is listener participation. Anyone can call leave a voicemail to the podcasters by calling toll free (866) 327-5072. You can leave a question, a comment on something you've heard, or a suggestion for an upcoming edition of Armchair Imagineering. Or just leave a tip or trivia about one of the parks or your opinion of the latest Disney film. It's kind of like calling into a radio show. And just like a radio show, your call is likely to end up on the air. If you're a little shier than that, you can also email the podcast at [email protected] or post in the new Podcasting section of the Discussion Boards.

A new podcast is usually made available very Friday.

Tales from the Laughing Place Magazine
If you're a regular visitor to our site, hopefully you've heard of Tales from the Laughing Place Magazine by now. It's hard for me to believe we've already published 5 issues over the past year plus and are working feverishly on the 6th. I, personally, am very proud of the magazine. I think it's beautiful (I can say that since I'm not the art director) with a very diverse group of articles. As we move deeper into our second year we hope to continue to improve it and continue to offer new types of articles from a variety of authors.

We've received lots of feedback on the magazine and all of it (even the negative) is valued. We also appreciate it when the articles in the magazine are discussed here on Laughing Place. To that end, we've added a new section to the Discussion Boards dedicated to Tales. Please be sure to read and post in the new LP Mag  section - we love to hear the feedback!
