Walt Disney World Weather Report for June 8 from @WDW_Weather

I’m going to keep this short and sweet because I’ve been getting a little long winded as of late … so sue me – I was holding out hope for that early tropical disturbance.  In the short term don’t expect much in the way of changes because they aren’t coming anytime soon.  The ridge that has been in control of our weather for what seems like forever will continue to be in effect today and tomorrow … high temperatures will once again end up in the low 90s.

So what does this mean for the weekends (throws hands up) – there are some differing computer models on this one so you may have to stay tuned.  Regardless of what happens I’m expecting thunderstorms to increase as we head into the weekend.  So expected isolated showers this afternoon, but by the time we get to the weekend you can expect scattered.

Now what about that little disturbance in the tropics?  Dead gone and gone.  Upper levels winds are tearing the heck out of what little circulation was trying to get going so it looks like this one has bit the dust.  That said, some tropical moisture may still try to head towards South Florida as we head into the weekend … so a beach weekend in the keys may not be the best idea … just sayin.
