Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point

In 2019, the Disney Cruise Line purchase a portion of land in the Bahamas on the island of Eleuthera. Known as Lighthouse Point, this exclusive portion of the island will be reserved for Disney Cruise Line guests.

Disney has committed to: Develop less than 20 percent of the property; Employ sustainable building practices; Establish environmental monitoring programs; and Donate more than 190 acres of privately owned land to Bahamian Government, among other commitments.

During the D23 Expo 2022, Disney revealed that work is progressing nicely and 90% of the energy needed to operate the facilities on the island will come from solar power. Additionally at Destination D23 2023, Disney announced the location will now be known as Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point.

Opening: June 2024
