Noticed this time that whilst George W is speaking, Lincoln (still seated) checks his speech, fantastic!, most lifelike is Andrew Jackson at the back whispering to John Tyler

While it is not the most "hip" attraction on the property, the Hall of Presidents does a great job at teaching history.

User ID: nonameuser   Thrill: 2  Theme: 4  Overall: 3 (10/8/2007)
The pre-show film should be updated. I first saw it in '71 and it hasn't changed. Otherwise, it's a great attraction.

Very interesting and the animatronics are incredible.

User ID: Jen   Thrill: 1  Theme: 1  Overall: 1 (5/14/2007)
very lifelike animatronics, worth a look, for about 2 minutes, after that its very boring

User ID: Tonichelle   Thrill: 2  Theme: 4  Overall: 4 (4/20/2007)
Ya, it's not scary but it's incredibly patriotic! Red or Blue state, this makes everyone proud to be American!

User ID: WolfDreamer   Thrill: 2  Theme: 4  Overall: 3 (4/12/2007)
Probably the site of the most advanced animatronics in the world. Since Lincoln is my favorite president, I felt like I had front row seats to the presidential conference of my dreams. All of the presidents' demeanors and habits were accurate and intriguing. I catch something different each time I view it. You have to be a history buff to enjoy it, though.

Worth seeing once, but multiple viewings? ...snore...

User ID: beehivejohn   Thrill: 1  Theme: 3  Overall: 2 (8/20/2006)
boring but cool

Amazing! There is one bit of programming of the Lincoln figure that blew me away. When Lincoln stands up he appears to unfold from his shoulders and almost wants to fall forward. I thought that this was because it is a robot...until I read the memoirs of Lincolns secretary, John Hay. Mr. Hay was asked to recall anything odd about Lincoln and he recalled that Lincoln, when standing from a chair, would appear to unfold from the shoulders and appear like he was going to fall forward. That was no programming problem. The Disney folks added that on purpose!!!

One of the most boring shows ever.

User ID: MrToadWildRider   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 4 (11/4/2005)
It's a 4 attraction (close to 3 but the a/c pushes it over the top ;) )

Very good figures and story.

I read all the posts before I post and at the bottom was this one from Jan-2000
"A figure of President Gore delivering a speech in the not-so-distant future?"

I just found it funny because I think an AA Al Gore would've been more lifelike and less robotic than the REAL Al Gore :X

User ID: disneyrn   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 4 (9/23/2005)
A great snapshot of american history. I love it but my little kids could care less.

User ID: jillstanley   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 4 (7/20/2005)
looks so life like you will have to pinch yourself.

User ID: Jim_n_Ruth   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 4 (7/3/2005)
Top notch always!

User ID: happyface   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 4 (6/2/2005)
Awesome! My kids, 4, 6, 15 and 16, loved it as much as their dad and I did.

User ID: ssmb   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 4 (5/14/2005)
Fantastic show with really life like wax dummies. This is a favourite of mine.

User ID: treeray   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 4 (3/3/2005)
Definately one of the best. Amazingly realistic! Every American should do this one and remember all we have to be thankful for.

User ID: gordonfan   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: Unrated (5/17/2004)
It's really cool, you think you can go up and shake Abraham Lincoln's hand

User ID: chrisandginny   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 3 (10/16/2003)
Always a great experience.

User ID: captain_hook231   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: Unrated (6/28/2003)
Great way to cool off. these animatronics are the most realistic. if there is a problem with Abraham Lincoln he actually looks like hes falling down, but its only if something mechanical happens. start making more and put them in other rides

User ID: Epcot82Guy   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 3 (6/18/2003)
Classic attraction. See it if you haven't.

User ID: I_Heard_A_Tink   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 3 (5/18/2003)
I always enjoy the Hall of Presidents but my kids never do. I always tell them if they want a nap then here is their chance but as time goes by, I am sure they will grow to love it too.

User ID: teknodave   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 4 (5/12/2003)
Awesome animitronics. Very life-like, and educational.

User ID: GCRockerGrl   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 2 (5/11/2003)

User ID: pdrlkr   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 4 (5/11/2003)
Great attraction! Not to miss.

User ID: AprilDecember   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 4 (3/5/2003)
This attraction rocks my socks. Educational and mindboggling - all those freekin' AAs! Yay HOP! Yay Liberty Square!

User ID: leetazhand   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 4 (1/6/2003)
I liked it! I didn't know they added Maya Angelou.
Last time I were at WDW was 2001.

User ID: dreamscometrue   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 3 (12/31/2002)
We visited this attraction on our last trip for the first time in years. My 13 and 9 year olds were not thrilled when we entered, but when we exited, they admitted that it was an awesome show. Wouldn't recommend it for younger kids.

User ID: SuperFoxtrot   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 2 (12/1/2002)
The only good part really, was the animatronics at the end. My aunt thought they were real actors, LOL.

User ID: jef   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: Unrated (4/8/2002)
One of my favorite shows in my favorite Land.

User ID: shawnp0001   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 4 (3/19/2002)
A very moving exhibit; a must for all Americans.

User ID: trillium2002   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: Unrated (2/11/2002)
Also -- the current exhibition of presidential portraits is really wonderful.

User ID: trillium2002   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 4 (2/11/2002)
I thought I'd be bored stiff, or that my activist sensibilities would be horribly offended, but each time (yes, we went back during the same trip!), I was completely drawn in --and even inspired to feel some pride in our country.

User ID: Dear1023   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 4 (3/28/2001)
So realistic it is almost scary. A classic and a favorite. Not really for little children.

User ID: ninafeliz1   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 3 (3/11/2001)
This is very Disney, with attention to every little detail. It isn't very exciting, but worth seeing once. I've heard rumors that it is now closed for good, but the official word still seems to be that it's closed to refurbish and add George W.

User ID: FCD01757   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: Unrated (5/21/2000)
Avoiding while they have Clinton talking in there.

User ID: RPK4444   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 1 (3/14/2000)
Aging attraction. Needs to be updated.

User ID: LaffnStock   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 3 (3/12/2000)
Neat animatronics. Loooong show. Is far more entertaining if you don't see the show at the American Pavilion in Epcot.

User ID: Jeremiah   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 4 (2/5/2000)
Again something Walt would have loved. Even if you don't like what is going on it is fun just to watch them all interact with each other or fall asleep...

User ID: Aspectsfan   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 4 (1/27/2000)
The building is beautiful. A singing group entertained us with songs about various states while we waited. Great experience.

User ID: damon63   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 4 (1/17/2000)
A dramatic and stunning (if a little out of place in The Magic Kingdom) attraction that only Disney could pull off. Much improved with the addition of Clinton and Ms. Angelou.

User ID: NancyDVC   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 4 (1/7/2000)
Love it. Patriotic and gives me goosebumps. Also a great place to sit, rest and cool off in the heat

User ID: TPA_RickWest   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 3 (1/5/2000)
Very patriotic and a must for guests of all ages. Hall of Presidents is a stunning Audio-Animatronic(tm) showcase that is rich with Americana and the human spirit in general. Updated with each newly elected President of the United States - who knows who will be next? A figure of President Gore delivering a speech in the not-so-distant future?
