Editor: Denise Thrill: 1 Theme: 3 Overall: 3 (8/29/2007)Geared for the animation enthusiast. Enjoy some of the first Mickey Mouse cartoons in a dark and air conditioned theater-like setting. Limited seating/leaning room but an enjoyable and nostalgic experience every time.

User ID: brerdouglas Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: Unrated (2/9/2008)These cartoons are fine if they would be changed every once in a while and include a few full feature disney cartoons. Just a suggestion

Classy front. Nice to get out of the heat. Fun if you like old Disney cartoons (I do). It is especially fun to watch these cartoons in theater with people not used to the older, sometimes coarser Disney cartoons.
User ID: Brerwiseguy Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 3 (11/29/2006)
This a good place to see old disney cartoons for free and you could get out of the heat as well

I loved tis minor attraction because I like to see Disney in it's old days! Wonderful if you're a Disney fan!

I thought this was a good thing to see at least once. Fun and restful as well.

ok to cool off, but dated an boring
User ID: weaverkjw Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 2 (3/29/2005)
This is a nice way to cool off and spend a few minutes watching the films but not a very exciting attraction, especially since there is no seating.
User ID: disneymomsons Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 4 (1/5/2005)
We are going back to Disneyland for our 3rd trip in June 2005, and we will finally see this attraction ! We have somehow passed it over the other 2 times ! I am sure it is wonderful, just like everything else at the Park. Can't wait !!

I've always wanted to watch the movies here but I never seem to have enough time. Oh well, maybe next year on our 4 day trip to DL.

Sadly, another change for the worse. Used to be 1 screen, 1 movie- "Steamboat Willie".
Now, the MTV generation dominates with 6 screens simultaneously showing vintage B&W cartoons. The organ music is way too loud. Avoid it.
User ID: Brer Doug Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 2 (7/1/2003)
I didnt especially like this attraction because there were no seats for us to sit on and the cartoons arent changed as often as they should be either. yet I enjoy it on occasions
User ID: usmclass Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 3 (6/3/2003)
Highly under-rated attraction....also the COOLEST (temp) place in the park. If your lil body is cooking from the heat, duck in her for a few minutes and refersh yourself! This was one of Walt's favorite spots...and it helps remind us how it "all started with a mouse!" Watch the old movies and see how Mickey has GROWN!
User ID: AprilDecember Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 3 (3/5/2003)
What a great way to introduce young (and older!) fans to some of the early greats!

its hard to watch one cartoon when there's 5 other ones running at the same time.

I enjoy this for the nostalgic quality. It is a good place to stop if others in your party are shopping.
User ID: GreenBowTie Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 4 (4/24/2001)
I like it. It's a shame that the background music that's always playing isn't available on any of the Disneyland music CD's.
User ID: jrslater Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 2 (2/4/2001)
This theater needs seating badly; it would be nice to get a historic perspective of early Disney animation along with features.

Escape the crowds and the heat
User ID: Farfinugen Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 2 (9/4/2000)
I don't like how the soundtracks and music runs together. Perhaps they could have headphones?
User ID: akwolf Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 2 (8/17/2000)
I like the Cinema, but it tends to suffer from Innoventions-itis - people go there mainly to get out of the heat.
User ID: MojoHobo Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 3 (8/7/2000)
Good place to come on a crowded day to avoid crowds.
User ID: StephRM Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 4 (6/22/2000)
I can never get enough of those great cartoons! I pop in there everytime I go!
User ID: MrBlond Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 4 (6/21/2000)
Great Moments With Steamboat Mickey. Great look into the beginnings of Disney animation, and a great contrast with modern, unimpressive toons.
User ID: Allison77 Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: Unrated (6/20/2000)
Enjoy it to step into for a few minutes and cool off, I can watch steam boat Willie over and over!

Great nostalgia, and a fun break from all the stores on Main Street.

Fun to see old Mickey Mouse cartoons!
User ID: Gregmh48 Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 1 (3/30/2000)
This theater is only good for resting up in an air conditioned room. Better than a store would be!
User ID: Tigger Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 4 (3/18/2000)
I like the old Mickey Cartoons.
User ID: GroovShel Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 3 (2/11/2000)
I love coming in here and just watching cartoons. It;s relaxing. I don't really have a lot of money so I always go in there while my friends shop around Main St.

This is also another good place to come in and cool off.
User ID: KAT Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 2 (1/8/2000)
Would be better with silent movies (Chaplin,k Chaney, Keaton) along with the cartoons.
User ID: WallyBoag Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 2 (1/6/2000)
A wonderful place to go in the heat of the summer. The best air conditioning in the park!
User ID: TPA_RickWest Thrill: Unrated Theme: Unrated Overall: 2 (1/4/2000)
This is a little gem for all Disney enthusiasts and historians. However, it's in dire need of a "shot in the arm" to bring more visitors off Main Street in to see the shorts - there needs to be a new "hook" to draw traffic away from the hotter destinations in the Park as guests make their way toward the Hub, etc.
