You won't be headed to Neverland on this flight. It's a high energy and well themed simulated attraction that will leave you feeling shaken but hopefully not stirred. Not recommended for those prone to motion sickness or for anyone with physical issues.

If you have motion sickness issues, this is NOT the ride for you....there is no light speed to the line on crowded day..unless you are really a Star Wars fan, it is not worth the wait..kind of a tired, old ride(Disney/MGM has a better queue, but the ride is the same)..a good Jedi Knight to all.

Excellent queue is the icing on the cake for this fun attraction! Fine themeing as well. Ride is best if you are near the back of your "ship." Funny Energiser Bunny posters on the wall as you exit. Highly recommended.

This definately got me involved. When it first opened, the motion was so real I couldn't belive it. Now, each time I return, it is always a must.

My wife and I have a tradition: ST is the first and last ride we go on during our DL vacation. What a hoot! If you bring first-timers to Disneyland, or you are a first-timer yourself, try to get on Star Tours first thing. It will make the ride more enjoyable.

It's not really one of the THRILL RIDES but you have to ride it at least once on your trip. Not a Star Wars fan (sorry) but I like this attraction. Needs to be updated I think though.

This is an excellent ride for anyone who likes Star wars movies. my funniest experience was when I was in Orlando at Mgm after i rode Star Tours I overheard a Dad tell his kids that they would go on until they actually reached Endor

Even though it's almost 15 years old, this is still the best overall package of a simulator out there. This has probably the best queue area anywhere... I mean look at it... you don't have to wait for the ride to get animatronic entertainment! 4/4

Its one of my earliest memories and with so many
changes and expansions its nice to keep some things the

Fun the first time, but loses its appeal quickly. Back when it opened up, I was hugely disappointed that it wasn't a "Pirates"-style ride with extensive audio-animatronics. Although I'm sure the technology is cool, let's face it: this whole ride is simply watching a movie, and is that really good enough for Disney and Lucas?

I hope to see Lucas in a brief cameo in the next film as well. We want digital projection as well! If it's not too much to ask for, which it probably is. It'll make it so easy to switch from movie to movie should there be multiple ride experiences. I saw Toy Story II using digital projection up in Northern California, and I was just blown away by the brilliance of the color and the clarity of the picture. Definitely what I'm hoping for in the future :)

Imagineering scored big with a Star Wars "ride" built out of simulator technology. If Space Mountain is a classic 70s Tomorrowland Attraction...then Star Tours definately gets the billing for being a classic 80s Attraction for the 90s, 00s, and beyond! They have the opportunity to update this Attraction without much trouble. However.....the time is now to change the film. Which is now 13 years old. Phantom Menace has come and gone in movie theaters, and I'm still waiting for the next Star Tours 'Destination.'

Am I the only one who finds Star Tours a HUGE disappiontment?! A Wars Ride should be exciting, with a Space Mountian feel, full of roller coaster proportions that sparks the possibility of danger and fear into those who ride it. Star Tours does none of these. "Riders" of Star Tours are crammed into a wide starship, with little movement from the seats, watching a movie that is about two seconds long, with little to none connection to Star Wars. If Disneyland is looking for a cool simulator ride, they should have grabbed Back to the Future - that's a simulator ride that works because the cars you ride in are smaller, making the gigantic screen the only thing around you, and the ride definately relates to Back to the Future. Star Tours should be called Stupid Tours.

Great when it first opened in 1986. Still one of the best simulators in 2000. Second only to Star Trek - The Experience. (this tells you how "ahead of it's time" it was). Tours is way way better than the newer head(ache) banging Back to the Future at Universal. Of course, it is time for an update - would be nice to get 3-D, Hi-Def, and other cool special effects.

After experiencing The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man at Islands of Adventure, I can't go back to Star Tours. If/when a new "trip" is finally installed, with the same high definition and crispness as the Aerosmith pre-show at WDW's Rock-n-Roller Coaster, give me a call. Until then, I'll "tour" something else.

One of the most detailed and realistic attractions at Disneyland, from the design of the Starspeeder to to the pre-flight annoucements. Don't be fooled, this adventure is 10 times better than Universal's much hyped Back to the Future.

I never get tired of this one. Every time the starspeeder gets caught in the tractor beam of the star destroyer, shivers run up my spine.

As a die-hard Star Wars fan, I admit that the content of Star Tours is getting a bit dated and the simulators are in dire need of some new technology. In a day and age when most sims are created with high-definition video on a laser or DVD disc, the dated film used in Star Tours leaves fans a bit disappointed. With the much-anticipated update that was supposed to accompany the release of Episode One, Disney fans are left screaming, "When? When? When?!?!!?"
