A great "Thrill" ride for everyone. I particularly like the theme of this ride although most people miss the flooded out town. On one of theinclines (I think the second one) when you're outside look down and to your left and you get a great view of that scene for quite sometime as the ascent is the slower.

The only reason this ride gets a three is because every time I ride it, either an elbow or an arm gets bruised on one of thsoe drops. Other tha that, I'm happy this ride is open for buisiness again. It goes to show, you can't keep a wonderful ride down for long!

To clear things up, the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad in DisneyWORLD Florida has a clean record. If you heard any incident it's most likely the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad in DisneyLAND California. There were a couple MAJOR incidents including one death at Disneyland California, another was a derailment

Wonderful coaster ride..just got back from Disneyland in Paris and Big Thunder there actually starts and ends by going underwater tunnel to a middle island where the ride happens...awsome. This tho is still great ride! FASTPASS A MUST!

Head over to Space Mountain if you're looking for a real thrill ride. But if you're just looking for a little speed and some great site gags, Big Thunder is for you. If you can manage it, go on right before Splash mountain the two make a great pair.

I'd have to agree with Disneygirl, Big Thunder is great at night. One positive about Disneyland's is when you go at night during Fantasmic you also get a great fireworks show. It's cool that each ride is a little different. Keeps it from getting boring.

Don't miss this ride! Ride at night if you can, being in the dark is great. I'm glad they have a little "cowboy" themeing. I have always come off with a smile on my face. I can't see the the faces or hears the delight without going on!

While niether is very thrilling as a major roller coaster, I think the theming and the tighter layout at DL are superior to WDW. At DL you are always rushing through little hidden canyons, while at WDW it spends a lot of time going back and forth out in the open(1st lift especially.)

This is one of the 3 best rided in the MK, not to be missed! The roller coaster is very tame, but the scenery and smooth ride are wonderful. This is Disney at its best. Try to ride both at night and during the day, it's great both times.

This coaster is not a thriller, but it has plenty of theming. For me, this ride is too slow, but if you're too wimpy to go on Space Mountain then go on this. TIP: On this ride, the back is better than the front. The front always crawls it's way down the drops. On all the other coasters, the front is the best.

If you get a chance, walk to the right of the attraction. They have a wonderful themed path that will bring you next to a geyser. Look out, you'll get wet!

This is what separates Disney from the rest. Take a simple roller coaster, theme it to the max, add animatronics, and voila, a classic Disney attraction!

It may seem antiquated compared to Space or RnR Coaster, but this has been a personal fave of mine for years. Bonus points for being able to ride twice in the same day.. during the day, then at night when it's dark .. and get two different experiences!

A nice attraction. I recently went on this ride for the first time in years and was thrilled. Either I'm getting older or they made this ride faster. It's no Space Mountain but, it's a very good attraction.

While not exactly a great roller coaster, it truly exemplifies what Disney does best: making the theming part of the ride. Despite the fact that there aren't sharp turns or big drops, the ride seems to work because of Disney's attention to detail. While not the best the Magic Kingdom has to offer, it is lots of fun nonetheless.

Finally, MK improves on the D'land original. While not for the easily frightened, this ride at least provides some thrills for those tired of all the Fantasyland yawns.

A bit longer and much nicer than the Disneyland version, this Classic attraction is a thriller always. Nicer at night due to show lighting and general coaster performance. The only eyesore is the rockwork - described by some at WDI as "giant refrigerators," the detailing could have been much better. Still, a wonderful attraction!
