Blaine Gibson
Blaine Gibson spoke at the hub near the Partners statue he sculpted. Gibson is the
master sculptor of Disney. He's sculpted every one of the presidents at the Hall of
Presidents including George W. Bush, the pirates in Pirates of the Caribbean, Tiki birds
and much more. Gibson talked about how he came to Disney as an artist, not a sculptor.
Later he was offered the chance to move to WED to sculpt and decided to think about it
with his wife. He told his boss he didn't want to take the job, but it was too late - he'd
already told Walt he would - and that's how his sculpting career started.
