The Premiere of Lilo & Stitch at the El Capitan
Page 11 of 22

The El Capitan Theatre was filled to rafters. There wasn't an empty seat in the house. Everyone had a bucket of popcorn featuring Stitch as alien, Stitch as Elvis, and Stitch acting as speaker for the record player while Lilo does the hula. Children were eagerly waiting for the film to begin. As the house lights dimmed a cheer went up and a group of hula dancers appeared on stage. Mark Keali'i Ho'omalu and Kamehameha Schools Children's Chorus performed He Mele No Lilo and Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride.

We'll leave a review of the film to Kirby's Toon Talk later this week. But suffice it to say Rebekah and Doobie thoroughly enjoyed it.
