For the film's premiere an additional party was setup behind the El Capitan Entertainment Center featuring a variety of foods including honey glazed chicken strips, beef medallions, macaroni & cheese with a crispy breadcrumb crust, as well as Elvis' favorite deep fried pickle chips and grilled peanut butter and banana sandwiches. On the dessert table were various desserts featuring coconut and chocolate along with lemon bars and shortbread cookies. There were also food locations for pineapple smoothies and flavored shaved ice. Activities included continual performances of the hula and traditional Hawaiian tunes as well as cookie decorating for the kids.

Guests were entertained by a ukelele as they entered the outdoor Premiere party.
