4) Let me tell you Disney did several things well. The Parking Lot staff handled the crowd well and the front entrance folks were great. It took us less then 10 minutes to get our program and coupons. Very efficient. And even under a lot of pressure from unhappy guests, the cast, from management to hourly folks, worked hard to make the event a success. Need to give credit where credit is due.

5) Disney was not all at fault. I have to say that even though I didn’t get a Coke, ice cream or get to play a game, I had a fun time. That was more than I can say for many people who felt that Disney owed them something from this free event. It was frustrating to be sure, but listening to many AP Holders and the way they spoke to the Cast Members was embarrassing. The language, the shouting and the finger pointing was ridiculous and uncalled for. Especially since most of them can come out to the park at any time. Could Disney have done better? Absolutely! Did they deserve the tongue lashing that they got. Not necessarily. Seems to be another product of our "I deserve it" and "me" mentality. No good deed goes unpunished. Disney certainly got an earful from its most valued guests.

My plea to Disney….Please do another one. It was a nice gift. Learn from the mistakes, make the next one even better, open larger areas of the parks. Your AP holders told you loud and clear that we will support these events. Please give us another chance and we will give you another chance too!!!
