Trust me. You won’t regret it!

Disney has released an awesome new app called Disney Creativity Studio 2 and it does not disappoint. This isn’t your regular, old coloring book, but a magical Disney-fied version! You can choose to color pictures of your favorite characters from Frozen, Big Hero 6, Cars, and Palace Pets, with each different category offering their own special set of stamps and backgrounds. Not only are there many tools to choose to illustrate, you have the option to save your creations and even send them to friends and family.

I have to say, I’ve downloaded my fair share of coloring book type apps, but the thing that really stood out to me with this particular app is the “Color In The Lines” feature that I absolutely LOVED! You do have the option to turn it on/off, but I thought it was so cool! I took a turn coloring a few pages of my own and have to list some of my favorite things-

The stamps/stickers are so much fun! You can use the alphabet to spell out fun messages, special stickers with fun messages like “Happy Birthday” and more.

I loved how many different tools were available to do the coloring- chalk, marker, crayon, paintbrush, two toned paintbrush, paint bucket. The list goes on and on, but I liked getting the different looks when combing.

Also, you can use design paper! On the tool bar it looks like wrapping paper and I love it so much, I really don’t want to spoil what it does so you can be as surprised as I was. Really, trust me- try it out!

I could list so many more things that I absolutely loved, but I think the thing that really sold me what the magic animation. Do you want snowflakes falling through your picture of Anna and Elsa? Done! Would your picture really seem to come to life if leaves were falling as Hiro walked through San Fransokyo? It does!

The free version of this app includes one free picture per category, unlimited colors on all the basic tools, and a couple things from each category on the fancier tools. If your little one is all for coloring, I’d strongly recommend buying the expansion pack to unlock all the tools and features for only $9.99. This will probably be the last coloring book app you’ll ever have to buy, and I know you won’t regret it one bit!

Lauren has been a Disney fan all her life. On her first birthday, she received a copy of the Disney Sing-a-long, Disneyland Fun, and ever since that, she's been hardcore in learning everything she can about the park. Another one of her favorite aspects is the food and she enjoys recreating those recipes to share with her friends and family. She also loves any craft that she can add a little bit of Disney magic or a hidden Mickey to make more magical.
