Review: Marvel’s Spider-Man Original Video Game Soundtrack

With the recent release and incredible popularity of Marvel’s Spider-Man on PlayStation 4, gamers everywhere are talking about the iconic wall-crawler. On top of the nonstop conversation and constant urge to swing from webs, they probably have the game’s soundtrack stuck in their heads as well.

The original video game soundtrack for Marvel’s Spider-Man is one of the best in recent memory. Composer John Paesano has created an epic score that encapsulates the epic nature of Spider-Man while also capturing the sad, serious nature of what Peter Parker, and you as the gamer, goes through.

Paesano, who also composed the music for Marvel’s Netflix series Daredevil and The Defenders as well as the popular Maze Runner films, put together 27 pieces of music that fit perfectly within different areas of the game, whether it’s background music for a part of the story or a high-tempo track to beat up some bad guys to.

The complete, one hour and 20 minute track list for the Marvel’s Spider-Man Original Video Game Soundtrack is as follows:
