Reach for the sky!… or your local McDonald’s, where Happy Meal toys come alive at night when the restaurant is empty (unless its a 24-hour McD’s). There are ten Happy Meal Toys to collect, in addition to themed apple slices, yogurt, and milk jugs. Plus a sweepstakes that even adults can participate in!
The themed toy display highlights all of the toys with an eye-catching larger than life Woody at the display.
The list of Toy Story 4 McDonald’s Happy Meal Toys includes:
- Bo Peep
- Gabby Gabby
- Rex & Trixie
- Duke Kaboom
- Bunny & Ducky
- Little Green Men (Three-Eyed Aliens)
The coolest aspect of the toys to me is that they are all like mini carnival games, but they can connect together to become Bonnie’s camper. It’s reminiscent of the way the Inspector Gadget toys became a tall action figure, or how the Treasure Planet toys became the golden planetary map from the film. It increases the desire to collect all ten pieces.
Our happy Meal came with a themed box with a punch-out carnival piece, plus themed apple slices and milk. We got toy number 2, the Three Eyed Alien whack-a-mole style game. It includes decals to become the windshield of the camper when combined with other toys. It also included a roll of carnival tickets with a QR code.
Redeeming the code through the McDonald’s app will let you know if you’re a winner of a fabulous prize, which could include a Walt Disney World family vacation, gift cards, or McDonald’s food items. If you don’t win a prize, you get credits that can be redeemed for digital prizes including music and digital books.
The bottom of the Happy Meal box reveals what’s coming next. Disney’s The Lion King will be the next Happy Meal theme. This is the first time there will have been back-to-back Disney themed Happy Meals since the new contact between Disney and McDonald’s.
These new Toy Story 4 Happy Meal toys are a lot of fun and the style of the toys is reminiscent of the short film Small Fry. It’s a fun little inside joke for big fans of the Toy Story franchise.
