Marvel Fans Make Their Worst MCU Casting Choices in New Twitter Trend

Part of the massive success of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is due to the fantastic job Marvel Studios has done casting our favorite heroes. Fans will have a hard time picturing anyone else playing Tony Stark or Steve Rogers and that’s because of the great castings of Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans.

But what if the fans handled the casting? A new hashtag is trending on Twitter right now, challenging fans to make the worst casting they can for the MCU. A search for #terribleMCUcasting on Twitter right now will yield some fantastically horrible results. And I mean that in the best way possible.

The game was started by @GailSimone who introduced the hashtag, which has since spread like wildfire. Fans have made some, let’s say interesting choices.
