Question: Eileen: Been diabetic for many years, there is nothing for diabetics in any parks (Disney or otherwise). Wants more stands that offer diabetic food, drinks, etc.
Iger: In October 2007 launched an extensive healthy foods initiative in the company. Also made many healthy foods available at parks and resorts around the world. Don’t know specifically if aimed towards diabetics, but would imagine they are more in line with that. Also pride ourselves in making the best experience for everyone though you may have to call ahead.
Rasulo: All restaurants, when order from menu, can request virtually any restrictive diet requirements can be met. But also to validate your question, it is difficult to have everything available at every stand and most food is sold for stands and quick service. We’re on a journey and continue to get better and better. There was a day where you couldn’t find a fruit at a Disney park unless some orange tree in Anaheim failed to get cut down.
