Walt Disney World Weather Report for June 29 from @WDW_Weather

The sunshine state was anything but yesterday and that pattern continues today.  As plenty of moisture streams across the area expect clouds and a good chance of showers once again.  We escaped the brunt of any severe weather, but there’s always a worry for hazardous lightning associated with these storms.

The threat for rain stays high into tomorrow – but longer range models show slightly lessening rain chances as we head into the weekend.

With that lack of rain comes increased temperatures … highs will top out around 90 today while approaching the mid 90s by the weekend.

Our first Atlantic tropical storm was named yesterday.  Arlene will not pose any threat to us and will likely make landfall in Mexico tomorrow as a moderate tropical storm.
