Roberts has placed or painted Mickey Mouse ears on nearly everything, from his own cartoon characters that take center stage in his paintings to a plaster cast of a human skull, complete with, you guessed it, Mickey Mouse ears. Roberts even painted the ears logo on the central podium that greets visitors upon entering, complete with dripping paint as if fleshed out in macabre fashion in white paint on a black background. The perfect place for him to pontificate on the evils of consumerism.
