Walt Disney World Weather Report for the August 19 Weekend from @WDW_Weather

I was about to write that there should be LESS of a chance for thunderstorms this afternoon and then I noticed moisture levels on the rise thanks to a southerly flow and I’m not going to back off quite that much after all.  After a couple of frenetic afternoons from Mother Nature while you may be a little drier today – someone is going to get soaked … again.

While moisture levels are trending a bit higher than they normally would this time of year, it looks like some of those levels will come down as the weekend progresses, so that is a good thing for all of you park goers.

High temperatures for the next several days will top out in the mid to low 90s (nothing new) and humidity levels will remain high (but you shouldn’t expect anything less at Disney in August).

The main little red flag I want to throw up is that I want everyone who has any interest in coastal areas to keep an eye on the tropics over the next several days.  There are two (not one) “Invest” areas that the NHC is now monitoring and computer models (while not totally accurate this far out) are steering them both towards the US.  If you are planning a trip to Disney in the next week/week and a half just keep this in mind.  I’ll have much more information on these developing areas early next week.
