I waited for one more observation before sending this off – but it’s clear that the atmosphere is moistening up nicely and like I said at the beginning of the week – today isn’t the way we like to start weekends around here. If you want to be glass is half full guy or girl today then you can reassure yourself that things can only get better from here (and they will). The good news is that once the first bit of rain ahead of the cold front pushes through – it looks like we will have on and off showers but the bulk of the rain will stay near the coast. That said, expect to need the umbrella a few different times today.
Once the front pushes through temperatures will cool down – I would say without the sun it’s going to be hard to get into the 80s today but the official high forecast is 81 – I’ll believe it when I see it. Temperatures will only be in the mid to upper 70s by Sunday but the sun will return and we are setting ourselves up for a pretty nice start to the week. (Don’t you hate when I just blow through your entire weekend like that – enjoy it!)
Could be pretty windy Sunday so if you are thinking about taking a little hot air balloon ride – mother nature may get in the way.
