Walt Disney World Weather Report for the November 9th Weekend from @WDW_Weather

Any RunDisney fans who were worried that Saturday nights race was going to be a carbon copy of the last RunDisney event can push that right out of their heads as the weather couldn’t be any more different.  In fact if you are smart you will already be planning on having a light/medium jacket waiting for you at the finish line because it may be downright chilly by the time 4AM rolls around.

Plan on a great start to the weekend with sunny skies and highs in the mid 70s today.  Temps will really cool down tonight as they dip down into the low 50s.  Wind will be a factor during the day on Saturday but winds should die down to a reasonable level by the time the race starts.  Highs will top out in the upper 70s but I’m thinking by race time we will easily be closer to 70 if not in the upper 60s so it might be a little chilly waiting in those corrals.  I’m not suggesting getting clothes to just throw away alla Marathon weekend in January – but if you’ve got something light you can just leave at the start – more power to ya.

Like I said it promises to be a bit cool for the Finish Line Party as lows drop down around 60 (so not quite as cool as the Saturday morning low) – and then we warm up a bit more to finish things out on Sunday as highs get up right around 80 for Veterans Day.

See you at the finish line and for Extra Magic hours Sunday evening until 1am!

If anything crazy happens follow me on Twitter – I am sure I will tweet some last minute weather updates for the race @WDW_Weather – good luck everyone!
