Disney Parks has announced that they have lowered the price of Sphero’s BB-8 toy from $200 for $149.99. Many fans that participated in Disney Parks’ Force Friday events at Walt Disney World and the Disneyland Resort were disappointed when they were charging $50 more for the popular toy than other retailers that are charging the $149.99 price. Customers purchasing directly from Sphero were charged the lower price and even Disney Store was offering the product for the $149.99 price.
Guests who purchased BB-8 at Disney Parks for $200 are able to receive a refund if they provide a reciept. Ask a Cast Member at World of Disney (Disneyland Resort) or Once Upon a Toy (Walt Disney World) for more information.
