Disney and Marvel have filmed several films in Georgia such as the upcoming Captain America: Civil War due to generous tax incentives. Today, Disney revealed that it may boycott the state.

“The Free Exercise Protection Act” passed the Georgia legislature, with the bill now sitting on Governor Nathan Deal’s desk waiting for signature of veto.

The bill protects religious officials from having to perform same-sex marriage ceremonies, and would allow faith-based organizations to deny services or employment to those who violate their “sincerely held religious belief.”

“Disney and Marvel are inclusive companies, and although we have had great experiences filming in Georgia, we will plan to take our business elsewhere should any legislation allowing discriminatory practices be signed into state law,” said a Disney spokesman today over a bill that the Georgia legislature has passed that would permit faith-based groups and organizations to discriminate based on sexuality
