According to The Hollywood Reporter Disney is in the early development stage of a CG and live-action hybrid project called Wild City. The film will be written and directed by James Ponsoldt, best known for his work on The Spectacular Now and The End of Tour. THR says the film “is based on Ponsoldt’s original concept, and explores the adventures of Los Angeles’ wild animals.”
