Similar to last year’s Force Friday rollout, this year several toys from the first ever Star Wars spinoff film, Rogue One, are scheduled to hit store shelves on September 30th. To celebrate, Toys”R”Us has announced that some of their stores will open at 12:01 a.m. and transform into Destination Star Wars: Rebel Base for the events. Additionally, fans can now preorder some of the hottest toys on Toysrus.com right now ahead of their September 30th release.
The retailer says night owls will enjoy giveaways including a poster and t-shirt (while supplies last),and will be the first to shop Rogue One: A Star Wars Story feature shops which will be positioned at the front of Toys”R”Us stores. These will give consumers with a one-stop-shop for Star Wars figures, construction sets, accessories and more. And, for those who wish to shop from the comfort of home, the entire new line of toys will also become available at Toysrus.com beginning at 12:00am EDT.
