As promised, the first trailer for Marvel and Sony’s Spider-Man: Homecoming has debuted online after premiering on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live tonight. This will mark the first solo Spidey film since the disappointing box office for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 convinced Sony to make nice with Marvel and reboot the web-slinger franchise in tandem. Part of the plan to show audiences what makes this Peter Parker different from past iterations was to introduce Tom Holland as the iconic character in Captain America: Civil War and have MCU favorite Tony Stark follow Parker over to Sony for this outing, as the trailer shows.
