Disney and Lucasfilm have formed a promotional partnership with the ride-hailing service Uber that will offer some fun surprises for Star Wars fans. To promote the release of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, users can opt-in to a feature that will icons representing available cars in the area into X-wings. Additionally, as CNET reports, users can also access footage from the movie through the app.
To turn your Uber into an X-wing, just swipe on the Rogue One card that should launch at the bottom of the app. This promotion is set to be in place from today (although anecdotes suggest the feature may not be available to everyone just yet) through December 18th.
