Today, what it sure to be one of the biggest blockbusters of all time begins principal photography. Not only will Avengers Infinity War include (at least most) of the Avengers roster we’ve known since the first film and that grew in Avengers: Age of Ultron, but will also incorporate other Marvel franchises including the Guardians of the Galaxy and Doctor Strange.
What better way to sum up this historic day than with an image of the film’s base camp, showing the numerous trailers needed for such a production. That’s exactly what directors The Russo Brothers shared on their Facebook page today:
Note they also use a play on the title to joke that this is Day #1 of Infinity, but they better not take too long to shoot the thing — Avengers: Infinity War is slated for release on May 4th, 2018.
