Today the Disney Parks Blog announced a new guided tour set to be offered in Magic Kingdom dubbed the Ultimate Disney Classics VIP Tour. The four-hour tour includes 10 attraction such as Pirates of the Caribbean, Jungle Cruise, Under the Sea ~ Journey of the Little Mermaid, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, “it’s a small world,” and Peter Pan’s Flight as well as a meet and greet with Mickey Mouse. This tour will be offered on Tuesday, Friday, and Sundays and costs $199 (+ tax) per person.
Notably, unlike other guided tours offered by the company, this one makes little to no mention of knowledge you’ll gain from the experience. In fact, the tour’s purpose is listed as making “navigating the park a breeze by providing you with the highest level of Disney’s world-renowned guest service while you enjoy many of the most beloved Magic Kingdom Park attractions carefree.” While tour guides will almost certainly slip in some fun trivia along the way, the “VIP” in the title seems to be there for a reason, and this tour will surely be lumped in with other recent up-charges — which Disney is calling their calling their “Enchanting Extras Collection” — unveiled by the company.
