Peter Gallagher has reportedly been tapped to join the cast of ABC’s hit series Grey’s Anatomy for its upcoming 18th season, according to Deadline.
- Gallagher has reportedly been tapped for a major arc that could be the key to the the return of Kate Burton’s Ellis Grey.
- Gallagher will play Dr. Alan Hamilton who knew Ellis Grey back in the day and meets Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) in the season premiere, which is slated to air on September 30th.
- Gallagher is known for many roles, but recently he has been seen in a recurring role on Netflix’s Grace and Frankie and NBC’s Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist.
- Grey’s Anatomy is ABC’s longest-running and top-rated scripted series.
