House of Blues
Downtown Disney’s House of Blues will feature a live music venue accommodating approximately 1,000 people and a 250-seat restaurant. Music at the House of Blues will be as varied as it has been at its other locations including rock, R&B, Latin, reggae, hip-hop and blues. The restaurant, located adjacent to the music hall and House of Blues Company Store, will feature an open-air kitchen serving rotisserie items and an exciting array of Delta-inspired cuisine. Guests visiting on a Sunday morning will enjoy their world-renowned Sunday Gospel Brunch featuring the best in exciting and uplifting Gospel performances by local and national touring gospel groups, while offering an “all-you-can-eat” southern-style buffet.

According to Greg Trojan, President and CEO of HOB Entertainment, Inc., “We are excited to be partnering once again with Disney. House of Blues at Downtown in Orlando, Florida is tremendously successful and we expect the same great performance from our new Disneyland venue.” When asked about the proximity of two Southern California House of Blues, Mr. Trojan remarked that while these are the two closest in proximity he felt that the Los Angeles and Orange County were distinct enough to ensure each location’s survival. He went on to say that with the House of Blues location in Las Vegas, the Hollywood location and the location in Downtown Disney, musical performers could be booked for several performances within a few days and with very little travel thereby making House of Blues an even more attractive venue.

Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen
Ralph Brennan’s Jazz Kitchen will bring the music and food of New Orleans to Downtown Disney. The Jazz Kitchen will be a two story location with a balcony overlooking the promenade. They will have a private room for parties as well as the ability to convert one of the other dining rooms into a private room. “We plan to bring New Orleans music with us, jazz R&B, and we will have a small club in the restaurant that will be also a place where you can eat dinner. I don’t want to call it a supper club because it will be more casual than that but we’re going to focus on New Orleans music”, said owner and operator Ralph Brennan.

Patina Group
Patina Group brings the innovative dishes of world-renowned chef Joachim Splichal to Downtown Disney. The restaurant, which has yet to be named, will be a two story location and will include a bar and balcony. “Downtown Disney is a fantastic project and we’re proud of it,” said Splichal. “Our new new restaurant will be remarkable in design and concept - especially the wine bar, which I see as the ultimate gathering spot - a place to hang out and taste a variety of great wines and appetizers.” Joachim Splichal has a variety of locations already operating in Southern California including the Pinot Bistro in Studio City, Pinot Hollywood in Hollywood and the Pinot Provence in Costa Mesa.

Rainforest Cafe
Downtown Disney’s Rainforest Café building will be an icon as it is in Florida at the Animal Kingdom and at the Downtown Disney Marketplace. It can be best described as Frank Lloyd Wright architecture meets the Yucatan rainforest. While it is very structured in certain ways to fit the Southern Californian look of the Grand Californian hotel and all the other Disney structures, it will be completely overgrown with waterfalls. Rainforest Café president Ken Brimmer said "It will probably be the most colorful looking Rainforest you will ever see because over 50 percent of the vegetation is real which they haven’t been able to do at other locations because most of them have been inside." The Café is being built a cost of $18 million which is three times the cost of an average Rainforest Café.
