Cognac, Port and Brandy
Remy Martin VSOP Cognac - $4.00
It was kicker and better with sweet item or a cigar rather than by itself.
Other Offerings:
Chocolate Truffle - $1.00
Warres Ruby Port - $3.00
Sandeman Tawny Port - $3.25
Germain-Robin Cask #48 Brandy - $5.00
1946 Maison Surrenne Cognac - $20.00
Southeast Asia

Spicy Meatballs with Cabbage and Citrus Sauce -
$3.50
Very good with a nice, tasty sauce, though the wrapping seemed a little dry to
me. Lord Niekon also found that you shouldn't try to eat one whole for it was
rather big. J
Cabbage Slaw with Torn Chicken with Peanuts and Shrimp Crisp - $2.25
If you don't like parsley (for it is a rather standout taste), don't eat this.
If you have no problems with parsley, this is an okay dish. I just didn't think
it was as good as grandma's.
Other Offerings:
Geyser Peak/Canyon Road Shiraz - $2.50
Valckenberg Gewurztraminer - $3.00

New Zealand

New Zealand Green Mussels with Ginger Broth -
$2.50
Don't be put off by the name, for these mussels taste about the same as any
other mussels that I've ever had. And can I tell you kids, this was a very
hearty serving, well worth getting. The veggies and the ginger broth were really
great too.
Lamp Chop with Mango Chutney - $4.25
Small portion but the lamb was really great and the mango chutney even better. I
know lamb is rather pricey but I would have to think about it a bit if I would
pay this price again.
Other Offerings:
Geisen Sauvignon Blanc - $2.50
Brancott Chardonnay - $3.00
Villa Maria Cabernet/Merlot - $3.25

Russia and Eastern Europe

Beef Stroganoff with Buttered Noodles - $3.25
This was excellent and a healthy serving is dished out. We highly recommend this
dish when you make your way around the Food and Wine Festival.
Braised Duck and Cucumbers - $3.50
The shredded duck was very tender and good. The cucumber was a nice little side
as it cleansed the palate between bites and was quite refreshing.
Other Offerings:
Murfatlar Muscat Ottonel - $2.00
Egervin Egri Bikaver - $1.75
Radegast - $2.25/$4.00
Pilsner Urquell - $2.25/$4.00
