Spring Time at the Disneyland Resort Paris - Part One
Page 5 of 9
The Carnival procession is held six times daily. The arrival of the jazz band at the hub stage is the initial indication that the parade is on its way. Departing from Town Square, the Main Street Vehicle is driven toward the Central Plaza, with Baloo and King Louie as the official Carnival hosts. A host of exotic dancers and Disney characters follow behind, interacting with the watching guests. The parade circles Central Plaza and concludes in a dance show in front of the stage. Guests are invited to break ranks from the curb side and join the characters and dancers in celebrating carnivals from around the world. The music changes throughout the procession, as the show is not designed to reflect just one type of party experience. The show alternates through differing influences, from Louisiana Mardi Gras to Rio Carnival to sub-Saharan tribal carnivals.
