Welcome to the opening matchup of our sixth annual Mouse Madness tournament! This year we are attempting to determine the very best snack Disney Parks have to offer. We’ve narrowed the field down to just 16 Disney snacks and two of them will square off each day until we have our champion.
Before we move on to today’s matchup, let’s take a look at our last result. In our opening contest, Churros handily defeated Funnel Cakes to move on to the elite 8.
Today’s matchup takes us to the Savory/Salty region where Popcorn takes on the classic Mickey Pretzel. Talk about a tough decision. No matter which Disney Park you visit, you’re bound to get hit with that irresistible popcorn smell. Popcorn is of course a classic snack anywhere, but for some reason it always tastes better in a Disney Park. And speaking of Disney specialties, the Mickey Pretzel is must-have on your Disney vacation. It’s not really any different from your average hot pretzel, but somehow Disney makes it better.
