Another round of trip cancellations will affect guests with trips booked through Adventures by Disney. As of today, Adventures by Disney has announced they are suspending departures through March of 2021.
What’s Happening:
- Adventures by Disney has previously suspended trips into 2021, and has just now extended those dates through March of 2021.
- Adventures by Disney has decided to suspend most adventures through the end of March. In addition, the following Disneyland Resort and Southern California Adventure/Short Escape departures have also been suspended:
- Disneyland Resort & Southern California Short Escape – 4/8/21, 4/15/21
- Disneyland Resort & Southern California Adventure – 4/4/21
- This DOES NOT impact guests booked on the March 15 and March 24 Arizona & Utah Adventures, or the March 27 Costa Rica Adventure
- Disney says that the wellbeing of their guests and team members is top priority. This decision to cancel trips is in line with direction from health experts and government officials.
- As with previous canceled itineraries, Adventures by Disney will contact all impacted guests or their Travel Agents with updated information and options.
- In light of these recent and ongoing changes, Adventures by Disney is offering a temporary adjustment to our terms and conditions to provide more flexibility for travelers:
- Guests currently booked on Adventures through April 30, 2021, can change their reservation and receive a 100% credit to be used toward a future Adventure. If guests would like to select an alternate Adventure or place their booking on a future hold date, they can contact their travel agent or Adventures By Disney. Guests will have until May 31, 2022, to complete their travel. This future travel credit is non-refundable and standard prevailing rates will apply.
- An email was sent to those with upcoming adventures that reads:
- At Adventures by Disney, we are looking toward the future when we are all able to travel again. While the impacts of the pandemic continue to be felt around the world, we are planning for our eventual return to travel with your health and safety being a top priority.
Our records indicate you are booked on an Adventures by Disney vacation scheduled to depart during April 2021. Adventures by Disney is closely monitoring global developments and following the advice of public health authorities and medical experts. We are also closely tracking guidance from the destinations we visit.
With this in mind, we are offering a temporary adjustment to our Adventure Vacation Date Change Policy to provide more flexibility for our guests. Guests currently booked on Adventures through April 30, 2021, can change their reservation and receive a 100% credit to be used toward a future Adventure. Guests may select an alternate Adventure or place their booking on a future hold date by contacting their travel agent. Guests will have until May 31, 2022, to complete travel. This future travel credit is non-refundable and standard prevailing rates will apply.
