Celebrate Halloween Challenging Famous Disney Villains At Disney.com

Join Cruella De Vil and Other Heavyweights at Villains' Celebrity Match Word, Where Kids Get to Play Alongside Their Favorite Villains

Disney Online, a division of The Walt Disney Internet Group, invites kids and families to join in some ghoulish online fun this Halloween by logging onto the Villains' Celebrity Match Word Web site at www.disney.com/halloween.

In the Villain's match word game, kids can play alongside some famously villainous contestants -- the wicked Maleficent, the Big Bad Wolf, Ursula from "The Little Mermaid," Captain Hook from "Peter Pan," Madam Mim from "The Sword and the Stone," and Cruella De Vil from the upcoming "102 Dalmatians" movie among them.

As Halloween approaches, guests and goblins can play the Villains' Celebrity Match Word challenge, where six villains, along with an interactive host, are introduced via six individual "TV screens" straight from their animated Webcam worlds. After the host prompts players with Halloween themed questions and phrases that have missing words, guests type in the word that best completes the sentence, and the animated villains then respond to the player's entry in an interactive exchange. The Villains Web site features prizes, new daily questions, and revolving celebrity Villain panelists (18 in all) each time guests log on to play.

All guests who play Villains' Celebrity Match Word automatically receive:

  • One free week at Disney's Blast, the No. 1 online subscription service for kids.
  • Exclusive online printables featuring a new Disney Villain each of the 13 days of Halloween.
  • A chance to win more prizes -- Halloween-themed CDs or videos -- by entering the Villains' Vault of Prizes sweepstakes

Villains' Celebrity Match Word is available now through Oct. 31, 2000 and can also be found after that date in the upcoming Villains' Lair Web site, where all villainous fun will live after the ghostly holiday. In the Villains Lair, kids will find storybooks, activities, and games featuring Disney's most famous mischievous characters.
