Transportation & Parking
Getting to Walt Disney World from the Orlando Airport is free, via Magical Express, if you’re staying in a Walt Disney World hotel. Otherwise, private transportation is available directly from the airport. Every major rental car company also has a rental location or a free shuttle at the airport.
Within Walt Disney World, free transportation is available for all guests (not just Disney hotel guests) via Monorail, buses and watercraft.
Parking is available at all four major theme parks for a fee (free for Disney hotel guests). Parking at water parks and Disney Springs is free. There is a nightly fee to park at Disney resort hotels. Free parking may be available for a few hours at a Disney Resort hotel if you plan to dine or shop. At peak times during the year, free parking may be available for confirmed dining reservations only. Paid valet parking is also available.
For complete transportation and parking information, see our Guide to Transportation and Parking at Walt Disney World.
You never have to leave the magic! In addition to the Walt Disney World theme parks, there are more than 25 hotels, villas and campgrounds you can stay at on Walt Disney Property. Most of these hotels are owned and operated by Disney and include several perks exclusive to Disney resort guests. The remaining hotels are operated by traditional hospitality vendors and offer varying degrees of perks. There are also hundreds of places to stay around the Walt Disney World property.
