Disney Microphone Transmits Sounds Through Your Fingertips

Gizmodo.com tells us about a new invention that can turn your ramblings into a secret signal that can be transmitted by touch. Named after a Japanese term (similarly means telepathy), the Ishin-Den-Shin installation takes the spoken sound and reconfigures it into a high voltage, low current, inaudible signal that’s beamed back into the microphone-wielders body. When he or she reaches out to touch another person’s ear, the inaudible signal actually vibrates the listener’s earlobe, which then works as a tiny speaker to deliver the message.
